CHS 250 - Statistics for Health Science Research3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: One semester of college level mathematics. Corequisite: None. An introduction to the statistical principles used in social science and health research. Topics covered include frequency distribution, measures of central tendency and dispersion, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, linear regression, and chi-square. The course will emphasize health sciences applications and methods. Finally, students will learn to use SPPS - statistical software used for data management and analysis.
