CMIN 431 - History of Christianity I3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: CMIN 260 and EN 132 . A survey history of Christianity that focuses on the early Church through the fifteenth century. The course will give particular attention to the Christological controversies of the early church as well as to selected Latin and Greek fathers, and to the Church councils that determined theological doctrines. This is a seminar course; students will read primary sources in translation and write essays on historical topics.
