RP 465 - Theories of Justice for Leadership

3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: RP 230, or permission of instructor. RP majors will be expected to have taken RP 333 and RP 355; minors in Ethics for Leadership will be expected to have taken LEAD 301. An examination of different understandings, formulations, and theories of justice as they relate to real world problems. Doing justice emerges as a central way to provide leadership in society and to appreciate the ethics of such eadership. The course accomplishes this by addressing a specific moral, social, or environmental issue identified by students who then examine the ways in which understandings of justice are shaped by and transform society.
