PH 331 - Mechanics I

Prerequisite: PH 252  and MAT 242 . A study of mechanics using Newton’s laws of motion. Includes a discussion of velocity and acceleration using rectangular, cylindrical and spherical systems of coordinates, Simple harmonic motion, Kepler’s laws of motion and dynamics of system of many particles.
