EDL 350 - Children’s Literature

3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ED 231 , ED 240  and ESE 200 . This course develops an understanding of the role of children’s literature in the cognitive, language, and social development of elementary children. Students will read widely and design literary experiences in children and young adolescent’s literature, including picture books, fantasy, historical fiction, poetry, contemporary realistic fiction, and multicultural literature.
