Prerequisite: CH 142 - General Chemistry II , MAT 241 - Calculus I with Analytic Geometry  or approval of instructor. A study of the properties of gases, liquids, solids; theories of solutions, colloids, chemical equilibria, and phase diagrams; elementary thermodynamics, ionization, electrochemistry, atomic structure, nuclear chemistry; introduction to quantum theory.
