SCM 365 - Sustainable Supply Chains

3 Credit Hours
Explores strategies and frameworks for building environmentally and socially responsible supply chains. Topics include green procurement, circular economy principles, reverse logistics, carbon footprint reduction, ethical sourcing, and corporate social responsibility. Students analyze the trade-offs between profitability, sustainability, and operational performance through global case studies. The course also introduces metrics and reporting systems for sustainability performance, preparing students to design supply chains that balance economic growth with environmental and community stewardship.
Prerequisite: SCM 230 - Supply Chain in Action
