SCM 425 - Supply Chain Analytics

3 Credit Hours
Focuses on applying quantitative models and data-driven tools to improve supply chain efficiency and strategic decision-making. Students learn analytics techniques such as forecasting, optimization, simulation, and performance measurement to solve logistics, sourcing, and capacity planning problems. The course uses software tools (e.g., Excel Solver, R, or Python) to conduct scenario-based analysis and measure supply chain resilience and responsiveness. Emphasis is placed on transforming data into actionable insights that optimize cost, service levels, and sustainability performance.
Prerequisite: SCM 310 - Forecasting and Logistics
