SCM 110 - Principles of Supply Chain Management

3 Credit Hours


This course introduces students to the design, management, and integration of supply chain processes from raw materials to final product delivery. Topics include procurement, production, transportation, distribution, warehousing, and demand forecasting. Students analyze supply chain coordination, cost management, information flows, and the role of technology such as ERP systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding how supply chains create value, enhance competitiveness, and adapt to global challenges. Hands-on projects and case studies help students apply strategic and operational concepts to real industry examples.
Prerequisite: BA 110 Introduction to Business
