AI 341 - Natural Language Processing

3 Credit Hours


This course covers the core methods of natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics. Students explore tokenization, part-of-speech tagging, embeddings, and sequence models for text classification. The course integrates statistical and deep learning approaches for sentiment analysis, summarization, and translation using modern NLP frameworks.
Corequisite: AI 331 - Deep Learning I: Foundations and Convolutional Networks (or a “C” or better)
Prerequisite: A “C” or better in:

AI 231 - Machine Learning Fundamentals
