CMIN 260 - Introduction to Christian Theology

This introductory course takes a look at Jesus and his teachings in an historical contex and provides a general overview of the major doctrines of Christianity and concepts of Christian Theology. The course examines the creeds of the early church, taking into account the major reasons that necessitated their formulations. The course also builds a platform for the demonstrationof how the cause of Christianity has helped to forge theologies of Liberation that have sparked the cause of Change that have been prevalent, instrumental and necessary in bringing about social justice.
Prerequisite: EN 131 and RELI 110.
