MAT 136 - Analytical Trigonometry 3 Credit Hours This course is designed to instill critical thinking skills and technical knowledge in the area of trigonometry. Topics include trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, conditional trigonometric equations, solutions of triangles, vector algebra, polar coordinates, and trigonometric forms of complex numbers. Prerequisite: Appropriate score on a Bethune-Cookman mathematics placement test or a grade of C or higher in MAT 134 or equivalent transfer credit or a grade of “C” or higher in any math course numbered MAT 135 or higher.
