MAT 135 - Pre-Calculus

3 Credit Hours

This course is intended to provide algebra skills necessary for Calculus. Topics include exponential, logarithmic, polynomial, and rational functions; polynomial and rational inequalities; systems of equations; sequences and series; induction and the binomial theorem.
Prerequisite: Appropriate score on a Bethune-Cookman University mathematics placement test or a grade of C or higher in MAT 134 or equivalent transfer credit or a grade of “C” or higher in any math course numbered MAT 136 or higher.
