BI 449 - General Bacteriology

4 Credit Hours

A study of bacteria and related microorganisms, their distribution, identification, classification, morphology, physiology, cultivation, pathology, methods of handling, and economic importance.
Prerequisite: BI 240 - Principles of Biology III, CH 242 - Organic Chemistry II and Lab or approval of the instructor.

Lecture Hours: Lecture 3 hours per week.
Lab Hours: Lab 3 hours per week.
