CH 242 - Organic Chemistry II and Lab

Structure and synthesis of organic molecules containing different functional groups along with a detailed reaction mechanisms. Fundamental aspects of spectroscopic techniques and their applications to characterize organic compounds. Organic labs mainly deal with the synthesis and characterization of organic compounds by green chemistry approaches.
Prerequisite: CH 241.

Lecture Hours: Lecture 3 hours per week.
Lab Hours: Lab 3 hours per week.
