This course interprets the profession of teaching as a component of Christian ministry, utilizing classic and contemporary texts in the field. Teaching as ministry is presented as an essential element of the outreach of the church and parish, providing critical tools for personal liberation and social transformation. Students will encounter several pedagogical paradigms of effective teaching within the circle of the church and will evaluate and apply these paradigms within diverse ministry settings.
