CMIN 565 - Professional Foundations of Christian Ministry

Credits: 3 Credit Hours

This course is designed to equip individuals called to serve in the church of Jesus Christ to render nurturing and effective leadership in the church setting and related church ministries related to teaching, evangelism, healing, righteousness, holiness, faith, and prayer. The course adopts a holistic approach of meeting the needs of the individual addressing, nurturing, and mentoring inherent in the mission and commission of the church. Biblical, theological, and cultural models will be discussed as they are applicable in the African-American church tradition.
