ES 233 - Environmental Ethics3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ES 241 and ESL 241 , or approval of the instructor. A survey of theoretical ethical perspectives and tools, both religious and philosophical, that can be used to resolve ethical dilemmas in natural resources, resource planning, and environmental management. This course will employ a case-study approach to illuminate the ethics of human relationships when situated within the larger biotic community, with the goal of informing environmentally-focused ethical decisionmaking.
