4 Credit HoursPrerequisite: BI 142 and CH 241 - Organic Chemistry I and Lab or approval of the instructor. This course explores the structure and function of proteins and nucleic acids; mechanisms of catalysis; regulation of gene expression at the level of DNA, RNA and protein synthesis in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms; and current topics in molecular biology.
