MAT 134 - College Algebra3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: An appropriate score on a Bethune-Cookman University mathematics placement test and/or successful in MAT 095 / 125 or a grade of “C” or higher in any college level mathematics course. This course is intended to instill critical thinking skills and algebra skills necessary for further studies in mathematics and science. Topics include functions; function properties; graphs; operations on functions; working with a variety equations, functions, and expressions including linear, quadratic, absolute value, radical, exponential, and logarithmic; inverse functions; applications.
