HM 345 - Event Management and Lab 4 Credit Hours


Prerequisite: HM 110 , HM 250 , and HM 260 . This course provides students with the necessary organizational skills to manage events and to foster a clear understanding of the elements that are included in planning, designing, executing, managing and evaluating an event. Through the exploration of key topics, case studies, and actual events, students will gain firsthand expertise, experience and insight into organizing successful and profitable events, in particular catering-related occasions.
