Computer Science Minor

Requirements for Minor in Computer Science

Requires a minimum of 18 semester hours of Computer Science (CS) numbered at the 200 level or higher. The course work must include:

• CS 215 - Fundamentals of Scientific Computing 3 Credit Hours
• CS 230 - Computer Programming I 3 Credit Hours
• CSL 230 - Programming I Lab
• CS 231 - Computer Programming II 3 Credit Hours
• CSL 231 - Programming II Lab
• CS 330 - Databases 3 Credit Hours

Choose two courses from the following:

• CS 333 - Data Structures 3 Credit Hours
• CS 433 - Operating Systems 3 Credit Hours
• CS 336 - Software Engineering 3 Credit Hours
• CS 340 - Computer Networks and Communications 3 Credit Hours
• CSL 340 - Comp. Networks and Com. Lab
• CS 331 - Mobile Applications Development 3 Credit Hours
• CSL 331 - Mobile App Development Lab
