BI 213 - Research Methods in Biology

4 Credit Hours
This course is designed to reinforce two aspects of research that students have been introduced to in their freshman courses: scientific writing and use of biological instrumentation. This focused course will fine-tune their expertise and allow them to transition to their upper-level classes with the skills necessary to both critique and produce sound scientific research. The format of the course will consist of class lectures (3 hours per week) and a hands-on lab (3 hours per week).
Prerequisite: BI 142 , CH 142 , or permission of the instructor.
