EN 431- 434 - Major Authors

3 Credit Hours
An in-depth study of the body of work of either a single author or a small group of 2-3 authors related by period, tradition, or movement. This course will focus on the historical and cultural context within which the author(s) worked, their subject matter, the major critical trends that have attempted to make sense of their work, and their influence upon later writers.
Prerequisite: EN 131  and EN 132. English majors must have completed EN 210.
