CON 600 - Professional Orientation and Ethics

This course provides an introduction into the world of professional counseling. The course content includes the historical overview, concepts, approaches, philosophy and development of the counseling profession. Professional roles, organizations, credentialing, legal/ethical issues, and professional standards of care are covered.
