PS 352 - History and Systems of Psychology3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: PS 231 , PS 236 , EN 240 . A study of the historical and philosophical foundations of psychology, with an emphasis on classical theoretical perspectives. This course offers a knowledge base of how the discipline of psychology evolved from the merging of religion, philosophy, science, and biology. This includes structuralism, functionalism, behaviorism, Gestalt, psychoanalysis, phenomenological/ existential, and positive psychology. (FA,SP)
