MU 236 - Piano Literature2 Credit Hours Prerequisite: None. This course presents a study of the literature for solo piano from the Baroque to the present, with emphasis on musical styles and forms. Piano Literature is intended to give students an overview of the styles, genres and composers of solo piano repertoire of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and is designed to aid students in their repertoire choices for subsequent recitals or future teaching opportunities.
