MU_ 464 - Music Technology and Recording Internship

6-12 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: MU 135 , MU 233 , MU 237 , MU 243 , MU 244 , MU 343 , MU 344 . This course allows students to complete a Credit internship in a professional business or organization that has audio recording, music production, audio for post-production, music composition, sound design, live sound reinforcement, or music industry based responsibilities, functions, or projects. Some assignments may include professional recording studios, audio consulting services, live sound reinforcement companies, theme parks, video production companies, music production companies, record labels, promotion companies, and advertising agencies. All internships require instructor pre-approval to insure that duties will be focused around music production, audio recording, or the music industry. (FA, SP)
