LEAD 501 - Public Administration: Theories, Principles, and PracticesCredits: (3 semester hours) This is a graduate level introductory course designed to provide students with an operational knowledge of the history, theories and practice of public administration in the United States at the national, state and local levels. In this course an examination of the political, institutional, organizational, ethical, social, legal, and economic environments in which public administrators operate will be conducted. Emphasis is given to the practical application of theories and constructs through case studies.
